Juvenile big books are part of the Columbus IRC circulating collection; both fiction and non-fiction titles are included. Due to their size, big books are "shelved" and circulate in large, plastic hanging bags for protection (rain and snow).Juvenile big books have a call number beginning COL BigBk and are cataloged numerically by accession, the most recent entry to the collection having the highest number. For example, Who is the Beast, by Keith Baker, has a call number COL BigBk 001.
It is possible to search the library catalog for big books using subject, entering the search term Big Book, and limiting your search by location, choosing Columbus Center Circulating.
